Drifting is the act of pushing a RWD car in to oversteer (when the rear wheels break traction and step out of line). Throttle and counter-steer are applied to control the slide. To initiate oversteer, use of the throttle, clutch and handbrake are often used along with weight transfer to break traction. Get up to speed on drifting with our drifting guide.

Why slow down before making a turn if you can drift through it? Next to drifting being faster, some people refer to it as artistic. Besides experiencing the smell and sound, you can try to make the ultimate Car Doughnut. Have a 3D Games experience in our Drifting Games that consists out of Car Games and Racing Games.
Drift Games and Team Tandem Showoff at DriftCon Afterdark will run throughout the day and night of the event. This part of the event is designed to be our fun end of the season sendoff. We want drivers to experience styles of drifting that they are not able to do in standard competition. Since it will be held AFTER the ProAm competition, in theory drivers should have nothing to lose. Drivers are encouraged to give ride-alongs (only passengers who have signed the waiver) and have a great time at the last large drifting event of the year!
Although it was designed with inspiration from Nintendo's 1992 game Super Mario Kart, Sonic Drift shares gameplay similarities to "Super Scaler" games previously released by Sega. Sonic Drift was released exclusively in Japan; a western release was planned but later canceled due to concerns about its quality. Sonic Drift was later released worldwide as part of Sonic Adventure DX in 2003 and the compilation game Sonic Mega Collection Plus in 2004. It is scheduled to be released again in 2023 as part of Sonic Origins Plus.
The gameplay of Sonic Drift shares similarities with Sega's "Super Scaler"-type arcade games such as Out Run and Super Monaco GP, although with inspiration from Nintendo's Super Mario Kart. Each character has strengths and weaknesses; for instance, Sonic has fast acceleration but poor control, while Robotnik has poor acceleration but moves at high speed. The top half of the player's screen shows the course map, while the bottom displays the player's car racing around the track. The game's driving mechanics focus on drifting to steer around corners at speed. Driving into television monitors scattered around the track awards the player a power-up, such as invincibility. Tracks also contain gold rings that can be collected to use a special move, which is unique for each character;[1] for example, Sonic gets a speed boost, while Tails gets a jump.[6]
Torque Drift 2 is the upcoming title in the next generation of motorsports games leveraging blockchain technology, where fully functional and playable NFTs are a core feature used to deliver true digital ownership of game assets to players, including opportunities such as play-to-earn and the trading of items on secondary marketplaces.

Since the battle start time was recorded as 4:30 PM, I decided that the war game would take place after Reverend Witt and the Natal Native Contingent had fled the scene. Since I had four boxes of Brits and one of NCC, I used the metal figures from these box sets to flesh out some of the participants needed. The metal command figures from the boxes were converted to provide sergeants and corporals and commissary figures. The other NCC figures would be used in other games.

Controller drift is a curse that befalls every gamer at one time or another, but few feelings are worse than when it occurs mid-play session. For the uninitiated, controller drift is the terminology for joysticks that take on a life of their own, wrestling control away from the user. Sounds familiar?
Ironically, frustratingly, it's a modern issue, as it rarely occurred in older consoles. In conjunction with how much more expensive every facet of gaming is in the present day, it can easily be the last straw. Fortunately, there are a few options for overcoming drift. Here are a few options that can mitigate the damage.
Updated October 7, 2022 by Jacqueline Zalace: Controller drift happens to all of us, so we've updated our guide with more information to help you get to the root of the problem. Additionally, we've included some helpful video links if you are looking to do a DIY fix.
If drift occurs, the first line of correction should be to rule out possible factors. The Nintendo Switch has a handy calibration function in its settings, which will help the controller figure out where the stick's neutral point really is.
For controllers that don't have a calibration function, some games offer dead zone calibration settings, although such features are rarely marketed. It's the kind of thing that players will ultimately have to search around the settings for. These options will make it so inputs caused by drift aren't registered and executed.
Drift isn't just caused by rough gameplay or bad design, but also by the environment. While dust and grime were previously mentioned, environmental containments might look like greasy, salty snacks, or otherwise the fur shed by a pet. Has the controller been improperly stored during a trip, or have unwashed hands used it? Both might cause contaminants to enter unwanted areas. Whatever the case, external agents can easily cause even the best-designed controllers to drift.
The best way to prevent stick drift is to make sure the controller isn't passively exposed to stuff that might be floating in the air. Additionally, we recommend not snacking while gaming. While this may be tempting, you could get bits of food stuck in your control.
A common reason for why controllers run into drift problems is that they are prone to deterioration, which will naturally occur with use. In more recent years, the life cycle of technology has shortened dramatically to promote further purchases, thereby further exacerbating the issue.
The best way to postpone drift is to treat the controller like a brand-new car every time it's used. Tossing your controller, whether out of boredom or anger, is a bad idea. A good idea, on the other hand, is to treat the joysticks with extreme care. Dutiful kindness may not prevent eventual drift entirely, but it will prolong the golden days.
Yes, wear and tear are expected to occur with time, even on the sturdiest controllers, but the longevity of the joystick can heavily depend on the games being played. Most games allow for normal wear upon the joysticks (specifically the right one, or whichever a player uses to control the camera) but there are some titles that will put a controller through grueling paces.
